Awaiting an Epiphany

A few words before going through the poem This poem has been a silent witness to both weal and woe in every human life. That drove the speaker persona to act like a pendulum, oscillating between hope and despair. Hope, you all enjoy the humble poem. The poem : 'Awaiting an Epiphany' The sunbeams seem to wane; Hope becomes too scanty; Life seems to be a blind lane; There lingers just van'ty. I try to catch a straw, In spite of every dreary dread; There’s no peace; there’s no law; Before my demise, I’ve been dead. The more the days fly away, The more unknown the faces are; I sing on my lonesome lay In the pursuit to be a star. Sometimes, myself do I console, “Let this life move on fast.” There’ll be none for me to condole, When I do breathe my last. How uncanny life has been! The brevity, sometimes, does pain; Moments of love are left unseen; Will I never find them again? Thus, we pine our time away, Thinking of what’s been lost; ‘Today’ will become ‘yesterday’; Let the sunbe...

The Crushing Crash

  I got crashed; I became crashed; There must be some reason; I endured when I was lashed; Still, all slandered me of treason .   I get flown by the Pilot, Who, too, succumbed with me; Tooth and nail he had fought, But who won was destiny .   It’s a world that’s too strange, Of course, in the negative way; Slaughter is beyond my range; I can’t even think of it any day.   Sometimes, I become free, Free to have a vivid voice; None can escape from destiny That snatches our each rejoice.   None ever thank me for my aid, When they approach their destination; In dire disgrace I am laid; Well, there’s no procrastination.   I lost my all; I lost my life; I failed to land on London ; Humanity’s too full of strife; All, all become too undone.   How could I save them all?
