In a nutshell

In this poem, the speaker persona tries to build awareness of the amphibians on the earth. They are getting extinct day by day.

The poem - "Long Live!"

Marsh and land, where they used to lie,
Have both become man’s usurped wealth;
Urbanization’s made them die,
Just for man’s selfish, brutal stealth.

Lo! The nature’s more colorful,
If frogs and newts – all are around;
Each thing will become wonderful,
When caecilians – safe and sound.

If there’s no biodiversity,
One day, man’ll too become extinct;
Mark that frogs also have beauty;
Just think: the matter’s not indistinct.

“Save the frogs and amphibians”, let
All men protect their lives always;
Being in peril, they must get
Man’s help now, to keep the bright days.

They all too desire to survive,
Just like men, each human being;
Let the salamanders too live,
Let humans heed them for seeing.

Long live, all toads, salamanders!
Long live, all frogs, their each species!
Long live, all the insect eaters!
Banish man’s all adamancies!
