The keywords to the entire poem

Poem, a trip down memory lane, beheld the sea, greenery, birds, ready to twitter, Basilica, masonry, fused nature and man, ceaseless ripples, regale, purple eve, gloom, mirth prevail, believe, East and West, hand in hand, Goan culture, reprimand, treasure for the future, dangling heads of coconut trees, cordially welcomed, marine breeze, heart-soothing, loving call, depart, picturesque place, memory in my heart, forever and always

The poem -- "A Trip down Memory Lane"

I beheld the sea, I beheld greenery,
When the birds were ready to twitter;
The Basilica and its masonry
Fused nature and man forever.

The ceaseless ripples did regale;
So did the purple eve;
Over gloom did mirth prevail;
How I can't believe.

East and West walk hand in hand,
All over the Goan culture;
No one was to reprimand;
What a treasure for the future!

The dangling heads of coconut trees,
Cordially welcomed all;
The heart-soothing marine breeze,
Gave us a loving call.

Although, I could not but depart,
From that picturesque place,
I bear the memory in my heart,
And will do forever and always.
