The poem in a nutshell

Every relationship is based on trust, love and understanding. It takes plenty of time to be built up brick by brick, but it takes only one second to shatter it into bits and pieces. However, the breach does not cause any noise, but it pains a lot. Pride, envy, narrow selfish interest, grudge etc. turns us so insane that we sometimes cause breach to relationships. Indeed, human relationships are more precious than gold. We should retain them.

The poem - "Was It True?"

My heart gnaws me down,
Shattering my all to the ground.
Human nature is treacherous,
Hindering in keeping promises;
The slogan of “It’s mine”
Has become the be-all-and-end-all
At present, resulting in great fall.
Sadistic snobbery knocks me down;
I feel wounded; my heart bleeds;
Was it for this that
The rapport grew up
Brick by brick, piece by piece?
Everything seems a false mockery,
Whenever people give vent to snobbery.
