The poem in a nutshell

Without causing bloodshed, we should secretly worship God in mankind. We become blind in envy and like vices. As a result to our blindness, our spiritual blindness caused by vices like envy, we lose rationality. We lose our intelligence. We act treacherously and become unkind. Dominated fear and tears due to frustration keeps on haunting modern people. Life becomes easily broken. We lose our strength in all respects. We give alibis that heaven or God will forgive us, when we pray to Him for forgiveness. Actually, the fact is that we need philanthropy or love for our fellow world citizens. This universal love alone can help us get rid of every trouble.

The poem - "Our Own Endeavour"

Without shedding gore,
Silently adore
God in mankind;
Envy turns us blind;
We lose reason;
We commit treason;
We act unkind.

Suppressed fears,
Depressed tears
Haunt today's people;
Life becomes brittle;
Not heaven above
But human love
Can change this world a little.
